I think we think that firefighters have an easy job. There is only a fire every now and then but then again think about what happened in Charleston. One year ago today nine brave firefighters in Charleston lost their lives battling a raging blaze at the Sofa Super Store on Savannah Highway in Charleston. I was reminded of this today as I visited my daughter who lives just a few blocks from the site. Here are a few pictures of some of the memorials at the site. Please remember them and their families on the anniversary of this tragedy.

Great Post,Last July I met the Fire Cheif in Charleston(What a guy) , he was still very hurt and proud of his men and his community.
Yes, I saw them interviewing him on the news and you could tell the hurt he is still going through.
I saw a documentary on one of the morning shows about the firefighter that also coached. It was very moving. We all neet to thank those that put their life on the line every day for us.
